SB 2116  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR FUNDING A   HHS/TIA, WAM
        SECOND AMBULANCE TO SERVICE THE WAIANAE COAST
        Appropriates $1 to fund a second ambulance on the
        Waianae coast.

SB 2163  RELATING TO AEROMEDICAL SERVICES       HHS/TIA, WAM
        Appropriates funds and requires 24 hour aeromedical
        service for the Island of Hawaii.

SB 2645  RELATING TO DEPENDENT ADULTS           HHS/TIA, WAM
        Requires family/household members to report to DHS or
        police when a dependent adult is in need of medical
        treatment or care.

SB 2664  RELATING TO VIOLENCE                   TIA/HHS, JDC

 
        Requires health care professionals to notify police if
        certain individuals being treated have a firearm;
        allows TRO for harrassment of business; clarifies
        liability for discharging firearms.

SB 2863  RELATING TO ADVANCE HEALTH-CARE DIRECTIVE HHS/TIA, JDC
        Allows individuals to designate on their drivers
        license or civil ID that they have an advance heath
        care directive.

Persons wishing to testify should submit 30 copies of their
testimony to the committee clerk, Room 228, State Capitol, 24
hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may also be faxed if less
than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at
586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at
least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing, please
indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and
time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
submittal.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services
to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language
interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for
the disabled), please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior
to the hearing so arrangements can be made.

Public Folder.  A folder labeled "Public Folder" containing the
measures and testimonies for the hearing will be available for
shared use by members of the public.
